SE Controls has over 28 years experience in delivering specialist smoke ventilation, natural ventilation control systems and smoke control systems to all sizes and types of buildings.

SE Controls' systems automatically open specific windows, doors, louvers, roof lights and AOVs to ventilate smoke and heat. We have the ability to design a fully integrated smoke or natural ventilation system providing tailored solutions to all types of buildings including apartments, offices, schools, colleges, hospitals and shopping centres.

Our Natural Ventilation Solution division (NVS) provides total, adaptive and tailored natural ventilation strategies for all types of new and refurbished building structures. We are passionate about delivering energy efficient, modern buildings that create a safer and healthier indoor environment for occupants.

Our complete turnkey solutions incorporate everything from strategy, design, supply, installation and commissioning through to maintenance and monitoring. They concentrate on automatically opening and closing windows and rooflights in a controlled manner, using Automated Opening Vents (AOVs), louvres, roof terminals and hatches.

Our aim is to ensure that low energy design and built-in natural ventilation principles are incorporated into every building from the outset. By coordinating all stakeholders - architects, consultants and main contractors - we ensure that every element of the specification and installation process is harmonised throughout.

Adaptable natural ventilation is most effectively designed and utilized using careful and accurate design along with integration of openings within the envelope of the building; implementing a natural ventilation system can guide building design at the very first stages of conception. Alternatively it can be retro-fitted to already existing structures, even to already existing windows. We abide by the basic laws of stack and wind driven ventilation, using methods such as single sided and cross ventilation, are utilized into our internal screens and external facades, with a range of product components.
