Hydefinition Plasma

We can production pierce stainless steel that is as thick as 50mm at our East Sussex site by using our Hypetherm HPR400XD power soure, our pride and joy! When we are edge starting the cutting thickness can be increased up to 80mm.

In addition to this our machine has a variable power range which gives us the possibilities of starting from thicknesses as small as 0.5mm with a standard of finish that is very close to laser quality.

Plasma is no longer to be considered as low quality cutting and this machine destroys that myth and re-writes the rule book.

Water Cutting

In our opinion our Water Cutting Machine is absolutly amazing. Virtually any material can be cut up to a thickness as large as 200mm. We can also offer a cutting bed that is large enough to deal with most requirements, being 6 metres by 2.5 metres in size.

We offer Dual Process utting at our Kent site and of the two Watercutting machines we have in operation, one offers a unique combination here in the UK - The only dual process plasma/water combination. This allows us to offer our customers the level of cut and finish that they need. Holes can be cut out of the middle with water and the outsides can be cut with plasma. The results in the client not have to pay more than neccessary and not spend in areas that are not required.

Originating in the 1950's, Water cutting offers incredible versatility. The idea is believed to have come from a forestry engineer who needed a more efficient way of cutting trees in to lumber. Further development during the 1980's made water cutting machines into the amazing systems that we at All Stock Profiling operate today.

They work by pushing water through a very fine nozzle at pressures in excess of 60,000psi and when you add an abrasive agent in to the mix, we have the ability to cut through materials as tough as stainless steel with an amazing level of precision.

Materials like mild steel, high nickel alloys, aluminium, copper and brass are cut through with ease. Non metallic products can also be cut and we offer these on a free-issue basis.

Laser Cutting

It is no great secret what extreme levels of precision that a laser can bring to any cutting job. However, precision like this is not limitless so we can cut mild steel up to 12mm think and stainless with a thickness upto 5mm.

Laser Cutting comprises of a computer which is used to program a laser whic is used to cut in to materials. The output of an extremely high powered laser is directed at the material to be cut and then the material either burns, vapourizes, melts away or is blown away by jest of high pressue gas. Using this method leaves the edge with an extremely high quality of finish. structural and piping materials can be cut by this method in addition to flat-sheet material.

Flame Cutting

Many would consider Flame Cutting to be the bluntest of all the tools in our tool box but it is not to be underestimated. Our Flame Cutting Capabilities allow us to cut steel plate as thin as 20mm to a thickness of 150mm from a bed which is 4 metres x 2 metres. From this you see where it's niche lies within our other capabilities.

Stock

We aim never to be taken by surprise by our clients material requirements so we hold an ever growing and expansive range of materials in stock. All our stock is certified and and consists of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Our Stainless Steel stocks contain an extensive amount of 304 and 316 grade sheet. We stock Mild Steel that matches the range of our cutting capacity from the thickest of plates to the thinnest gauge. We hold Aluminium Plate in grades of 5083 and 6082 and Aluminium Sheet in grades 5251 and 1050. Our range of materials we hold in stock is also driven by our clients so tell us what you need and we will see what we can do.
